NetworkTuna 1.0.4 Beta is out, with a new user guide
NetworkTuna 1.0.4 Beta names the domains behind connections on Realtime, and a new user guide explains how NetworkTuna detects suspicious network activity.
Today we released NetworkTuna 1.0.4 Beta. Realtime now shows the domain names behind connections instead of only IP addresses, and the details of an app, your computer or a network zone list their latest connections. NetworkTuna also recognizes more Windows services as services instead of ordinary apps. See the NetworkTuna v1.0.4 release notes for everything that changed.
Install 1.0.4 over your current version from the Download page. Your rules and settings are kept.
We have also published the first chapters of the NetworkTuna user guide:
- Suspicious activity detection explains what NetworkTuna looks for and how to review what it finds: the Security Events page, port scans, attempts to reach services such as file sharing (SMB) or Remote Desktop, the optional router monitoring, and changes on your local network.
