NetworkTuna 1.0.3 Beta makes suspicious network activity easier to investigate. It also improves optional router monitoring and app controls.
Install this release over 1.0.2. Your rules and settings are kept. The installers are digitally signed by DeinitLabs.
New features
- Realtime now shows your computer, Internet, and local network activity above the app list.
- App charts can show incoming, outgoing, or both types of traffic, and connection details show the connection type.
- Overview makes optional router monitoring easier to inspect and lets you follow identified incoming connections to their apps.
- An orange dot on the tray icon shows when an Ask request needs your decision.
- You can copy information from app details more easily, and text and links are clearer.
Fixes
- Ask rules now work more reliably for Windows services, and the Apps page shows each service by name.
- Late replies to outgoing connections are less likely to trigger a false port scan alert.
- When NetworkTuna starts with Windows, either Close to tray or Minimize to tray now keeps it in the tray.
- Updates avoid a delay that affected PCs with a large saved history.
